Twenty years have passed since the combining robot Dandivine defeated the mysterious invaders known as the Aposdoll. With the threat gone, the world has enjoyed a long era of peace. But for toy manufacturer Casga, whose fortunes were built on the popularity of Dandivine merchandise, that peace has come at a cost. Having relied too heavily on the legendary robot's fame, the company has steadily fallen into decline.

Desperate to revive both Dandivine and his struggling business, Casga's president, Genjurou Shijima, dreams of the robot's return—even if it means disrupting the peace. Then, as if in answer to his wish, the Aposdolls suddenly reappear in Tokyo.

As panic spreads among a population that has known nothing but peace for two decades, high school student Gekiha Shijima is recruited by his uncle, Yuusaku Kuroiwa, the former main pilot of Dandivine. Drawn into the cockpit of the legendary machine, Gekiha finds himself at the center of a new battle.

Why have the Aposdolls returned after all these years? And can Dandivine rise once again to face the threat? A new chapter in the fight for humanity is about to begin.
